Inspiration & Thoughts

Recently a few ‘friends’ asked if I am doing ads on my Instagram. Ehh…. in case you are not aware, I had been putting up sponsored posts every now and then for years – on this blog and on my Instagram.

I don’t position myself as an “Instagram influencer” though, as everyone is an influencer as quoted by G, since anyone can influence others. I brand myself as a ‘Digital Creator” instead. Sounds cool? Haha, this is a new classification I found recently, I like this title, and do not mind anyone tagging me to this category. Although my writing and photography skill have a lot of room for improvement, I am constantly striving to improve myself and create something ‘original’, and true to myself.

If you do a search for the definition of this word, you will find that it refers to the “marketing practice of creating a name, symbol or design that identifies and differentiates a product from other products.”

What type of branding do you position yourself with?

I position myself as a “Bo Chap Mummy” who play with Kpo Kia like a dad (LOL)!

I position myself as a “serious” (who cares about senior!) Business Analyst who wants a more seamless business flow for my users (unfortunately, over the past 5 years, I learned that it’s very tough, for both developers and users to accept the new “digital transformation” thinking).

I position myself a true-to-myself digital creator, who believe in what I market, and create the best with my limited capability.
