G got a car for the day so we decided to go for a food marathon.
|The stall opened around 4pm on Good Friday.|
|Mine bak chor mee without chili. The soup very tasty wor!~
Initially wanted to order dried one but was told this stall only have soup bak chor mee.
|The mee took quite some time to serve (actually they forgot our order),
luckily we have the ice kachang to fill up our stomach in between.
Have a short walk around Mount Faber and decide to give ourselves a nice treat.
Since both of us never have our meals there before so we just drop by the Sapphire Restaurant from The Jewel Box for our dinner.
|Sapphire dining menu|
|Complimentary bread are provided – G’s favourite.|
|My main course – Pan-Fried Cod Fish|
|G’s main course – Lamb (forgot the name~ of the dish)|
The food are nice but the serving… a bit too little… perhaps it’s because the portion is served such that diners will be able to enjoy the bread, appetizer, main course, dessert, and a nice cup of drink? :X
Although I read some negative feedback on the restaurant service after I got home, we are quite lucky as even when it’s almost full house, but the time taken from ordering, serving, and billing is all within reasonable waiting time…
|The toilet is clean and well decorated, but to my horror when I was having my dinner,
I realised we can view the ladies from our dinning seat! So don’t try to dig your nose or scratch your butt in the toilet!

Sun – Thur: 9.00am – 12.30am
Fri – Sat: 9.00am – 2.00am
Obviously for big eaters like us, the dinner is not enough to fill up our humongous tummy, so we need to fill it with “something”. G told me he never tried Ben&Jerry’s before so we proceed to Demsey Road to eat our dessert.
|It’s not us! Just some random stranger sitting beside the band…|
|My Cherry Garcia in flower cone|
Few days later, JL shared with me on this promotion:
|Whine~ we could have save a bit if we found out about this promotion earlier!|
