Ouch, I fell again!
To motivate myself to exercise, I bought a skate scooter from Decathlon and headed to the park for my first ride.
I overestimated my skills and underestimated my weight. As I sped down a steep slope, I nearly collided with Kpo Kia. To avoid crashing, I tried to brake with my foot, but I hesitated, afraid of braking too hard. That hesitation caused me to lose balance and take a tumble.
This fall brought back memories of my first attempt to ride a motor scooter in Taiwan years ago. My kinetic skills have always been shaky.
SIGH
Tracking my recovery progress from here on out.
Day 1
I had a few wounds but only posted two here.
Once I got up, I felt a sharp pain in my chin and immediately asked Kpo Kia Papa if I had injured my face. When I tried photographing the wound with my phone’s front camera, it didn’t look that serious. It’s funny — as I’m not usually one to care much about my appearance, but the first thing I worried about was the injury on my face.

Day 3
Still felt painful whenever my wound got in touch with water. I was super paranoid and shy away from Kpo Kia whenever she tried to hold on to my arm. 🙁

Day 7
My face finally recovered, but my arm injury is still recovering slowly.
