No Oven Milo Lava Cake


  • 60g Milo powder
  • 15g hot water
  • 1 egg
  • 30g sugar
  • 40g all purpose flour
  • 30g melted butter
  • pinch of salt


  1. Pour hot water to Milo, stir well.
  2. Add sugar, mix well.
  3. Add egg, mix well.
  4. Add butter, mix well.
  5. Sift in the flour, and add pinch of salt, mix till there is no lump.
  6. Pour the mixture into container (can put into 3 cupcake mold with around 95g of batter each).
  7. Cover with cling wrap and poke few holes, or wrap wok/pot cover with cloth so that the steam water will not get into the cake.
  8. Steam on medium high heat for around 9 – 15 minutes (depending on the type of container used).
  9. Sprinkle Icing sugar/Milo on top.
