The greatest skill of a Photographer is not just how proficient he or she is in technical abilities. It is his or her perception of the surroundings and sensitivity in the composition that make up a photo.
This book is dedicated to those who are trying to pick up photography (no matter which kind of camera device) and will help you see things in a more photographic way so that you can capture things entirely in your own vision and style.
As the saying goes, Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. You, the beholder will decide on the presentation of a photo at its best.
About the Writer
Renez Wednesday has been a Professional Photographer for more than 10 years. At the age of 14, Renez was awarded an exhibition at Singapore Art Museum.
A sudden bout of high fever caused Renez to become blind temporarily when she was 17. That condition led her to decide on sharing her vision to the world if she recovers. She then explored further in her photography journey.
In 2010, she published her own Photography book called Composing Dreams. This book was partially inspired by her night dream.
A year later, due to overwhelming feedback, Renez also started her own line of Photography Art Postcards. These postcards were sold islandwide in concept stores and museums in Singapore.
She has since taken in over 200 students in her Photography community. She is delighted to share her knowledge with more people through this book.
My Thoughts
I find this book quite insightful and benefit beginner photographers who want to grasp the basic concept of photography. It’s simple and straight to the point, with a lot of examples to support the concept. I personally find the “Color Theory” section – which guides readers on the application of different color tones, especially beneficial for me.

A lot of photography techniques books include exceptionally beautiful photos with compelling scenes, mostly unachievable without the assistance of others. This ebook differs by showing examples of how we can story-tell through subjects we can easily find in our daily life.
