This Chinese New Year marks the Year of the Snake, with the lunar year beginning on 29 January 2025.
We didn’t get to spring clean thoroughly due to our busy work schedule. Luckily, we usually don’t have relatives and friends visiting us, and since I had cut down on a lot of novelty shopping, the spring cleaning was manageable.
This year we had a simple lunch at Carl’s Jr since my mother-in-law is not feeling well to cook. We dropped by for a short visit before going over to my parents’ place. As usual, we had a sumptuous reunion dinner at my parents’ house.
