Merry Christmas 2024

Merry Christmas again~

Aging changes us. We’re less motivated to go out and more inclined to stay at home on Christmas Day. For non-Christians like us, beyond the festive celebrations (the “push factor” to gather with friends), it’s simply another public holiday.

Still, I’m grateful for the break—it gives me a chance to sleep late and find time for myself. I manage to catch up on my course work and, ehh, even on some actual work 🙃. I also bought a template for my digital journal for the first time (ouch! I missed out the new promo code and bought it at a higher price)! Now, I’m debating whether to splurge on the Insta360 X4 camera… Can anyone help me decide? Inspire me, please!

Oh, and let me rant a little about my Christmas Eve dinner experience. We thought we’d try our luck ordering Domino’s Pizza through Foodpanda, even though it took forever to arrive when we ordered directly from the store last year. Guess what? This time, it didn’t arrive at all! To top it off, we couldn’t even reach the store—calls either got disconnected immediately or were constantly on hold.

Some people never learn… and I can’t decide if that includes the store or us. Probably both. Maybe in 2025, I’ll just cook Christmas dinner myself.

Another few days, and it’ll be 2025!

Time is flying, and I feel like I’m running out of time to plan for the new year.

I really need to restrategize and figure out how to improve my finances, or at least track them properly. It’s one of those things I keep putting off although I know it is essential.

The same goes for getting started on my social media content. I need to stop procrastinating and find the motivation to keep it consistent and on track.

Here’s to hoping I can pull it all together before the clock strikes midnight on New Year’s Eve!
