And so I have been a walking cocoa butter for the past few months.
I have now switched to Mustela now…

Let me share my experience with the 3 type of stretch mark cream till date. Note that I still can’t escape the fate from stretch mark attacked at my bottom, but I know I have stretch mark long time ago, just that now it’s becoming more obvious…. only lucky thing is, till date, the stretch mark attack have yet to conquer my tummy and above…

Cocoa Butter Formula Massage Lotion
A big bottle of 250ml of  tube of Cocoa Butter Formula Massage Lotion will only cost me around SGD$12 – this can last me for almost 2.5months, a super economy stretch mark cream.

The ingredients used are:
Water (Aqua), Theobroma Cacao Extract (Cocoa), Glycerin, Propylene Glycol Stearate, Petrolatum, Glyceryl Stearate, Propylene Glycol, Cocos Nucifera Oil (Coconut), Cetyl Alcohol, Mineral Oil (Paraffinum Liquidum), Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Elaeis Guineensis Oil (Palm), Dimethicone, Butyrospermum Parkii Butter (Shea), Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis Oil (Sweet Almond), Tocopherol Acetate, Centella Asiatica Extract, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Hydrolyzed Elastin, Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil, Acetylaringyltryptophyl Diphenylglycine, Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed OiI, Hydroxyethylcellulose, PEG-8 Stearate, Phenoxyethanol, Benzoic Acid, Sorbic Acid, Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Butylene Glycol, Caramel, Fragrance, Benzyl Benzoate, Benzyl Cinnamate, Benzyl Salicylate, Limonene, Hexyl Cinnamic Aldehyde, Hydroxycitronellal, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Linalool

When I first use the lotion, I quite like the cocoa butter smell, but after few days of cocoa butter smell… I beginning to feel a bit… off. With an application in the morning, after one whole day of work, I still can feel a layer on my skin during my late night shower.I guess it’s too moisturizing to get absorbed through my skin?

Elancyl Stretch Mark Prevention Cream
2 tube of Elancyl Stretch Mark Prevention Cream will cost around SGD$47.
The ingredients used are:
Water, Carthamus Tinctorus (Safflower) Seed Oil, Cyclopentasiloxane, Peg-20 Stearate, Sobritan Stearate, Cyclohexasiloxane, Panthenol, Propylene Glycol, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil (Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis Oil), Carbomer, Cetyl Alcohol, Disodium Edta, Fragrance (Parfum), Hydroxyproline, Methylsilanol Mannuronate, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Dna, Sorbic Acid, Tocopheryl Acetate, Triethanolamine.

I was given 2 small packs of sample to trial on from the promoter in Watson.

Elancyl have a nice scents which also penetrates the skin quickly without leaving a greasy texture. Funny thing is end of the day, when I was showing, I can feel the ‘elastic’ feeling on my tummy. I have used too little to give a decent review on the cream. I personally think might be a value for money product if it works for me.

This product is highly recommended by the lady from Spring Maternity and one of my colleagues – J.
J gave me a tube to try on, and I have been using it for few weeks already. The scent is nice, although not as fragrant as Elancyl, but the cream is quickly absorbed into the skin and I didn’t feel anything throughout the day, not even while I was showering. I pretty like the ‘clean’ feeling.
