There’s always ups and downs in our life… today happened to be a down for me… so I decided that I need a “happy” dinner. Told G about it and he suggested that we can have dinner at Canelè @ Raffles City since Canelè is quite famous for their dessert.

Although the queue is short when we reached, it took quite some time for us to get our seat. Perhaps coming on a Friday night for dinner is not a wise choice afterall. All this while I thought Canelè is nothing more than a cafe which only serve cakes and pastries, till today then I reaslied they actually serve main course food as well. T___T
Like the design of the coaster, just by looking at it cheered me up!
G though I will be satisfied with my normal share of dessert as main course, never will he know I will end up ordering so much food! Bad role model for someone who is suppose to be on diet…
Crab Meat Pasta @ SGD $17, it’s actually quite nice… like the crab meat 😛

Duck & Coriander @ SGD $14.50
G teased me if I actually have craving for Peking Duck, it’s duck slices wrap in crêpes, I personally find the hoisin sauce a bit too sweet.

Cappuccino @ SGD $6 per cup

An Intimate Affair @ SGD $13.5
Sinful dessert with chocolate ice-cream, chocolate crumble, chocolate shards warm chocolate sauce and whipped cream on crêpe

Le Chocolat Croustillant @ SGD $8
Another sinful dessert with Vanini chocolate mousse layered between a crispy chocolate praline and opulent Gianduja cream, surrounded by a wall of divine dark chocolate glaze and crushed hazelnuts.

This is the first time I cannot finish my dessert… (perhaps I have my fair share of crêpe from the Duck & Coriander already?)… so we started to ‘play’ with our food again… combining the two desserts… is it nice?

Sorry for being a bad role model again, food are for eating, not for playing T__T
